Kafka Tamura have recently dotted the line with 100% Recordings and reveal their first new music in three years in the form of their new single Find Me Well. The track was produced by renowned British producer Eliot James (Two Door Cinema Club, Bloc Party). Listen below.

Deriving their band name from the protagonist of the surrealist Japanese novel Kafka On The Shore by Haruki Murakami, Kafka Tamura originally formed online as a trio in 2012, when Gabriel Häuser and previous member Patrick Bongers stumbled upon the SoundCloud musings of then 16 year old Emma Bradshaw. Their debut album was released in 2014 and saw them tour extensively throughout Europe.

Kafka Tamura encourages the listener to take their own interpretation from the lyrics, however, Emma sheds light on the origins of the track:

Find Me Well is the start of a new beginning. With this song, we are completely ourselves. It’s about taking a tough situation, and building character from that. It’s full of anger, sadness and joy.

With a voice well beyond her years she carries reminiscences of Florence Welch (of Florence + The Machine), Emma’s vocals and Gabriel’s entrancing tranquil beats truly captivate the listener.
